Meet the Founders

  • Founder & Lead Guide

Christian Trotter, a former collegiate football player, brings over 11 years of experience as a high school Health and Physical Education teacher. With a strong background in coaching, he spent 7 years coaching both college and high school athletes before transitioning to work with elementary-aged children. In 2022, Christian resigned from teaching to co-found the Kansas Stars, a local youth sports and development organization. As a dedicated coach, he leads multiple Kansas Stars teams and provides fundamental sports training to young student-athletes.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Christian and his wife, Tiffany, are Airbnb owners. At home, Christian is a devoted and enthusiastic father, actively involved in every aspect of his children’s lives. He instills a commitment to excellence both academically and athletically in his kids and aims to inspire the same drive in all A4 student-athletes. Christian is eager to embark on this new chapter and looks forward to making a positive impact.

Tiffany is the heart, hustle, and organizational brains behind it all. She’s the one who keeps everything running smoothly—from managing the chaos of a busy household to making sure every kiddo gets to all their practices and games.

When she’s not on the sidelines cheering or coordinating logistic, Tiffany is out helping the people of Wichita buy and sell real estate. Now, she’s also taken on a major role in running the day-to-day operations of A4A, bringing her sharp mind, attention to detail, and passion for athletics to the forefront of the organization.

As an ex-collegiate volleyball athlete herself, Tiffany knows the drive, discipline, and commitment it takes to succeed—on the court and in life. Whether she’s leading her family, closing deals, or elevating A4A, Tiffany does it all with purpose and she’s excited to help spread that winning mindset throughout the academy.

People have always told us we were doing too much as a family.

Too many games on the weekends.
Too many practices during the week.
Too much travel—all for the sake of sports.

And when we squeezed in extra training sessions on any rare “free” day?
That just seemed crazy to them.

But here’s the thing—what if we love the chaos? What if we choose to spend our time together at the field or in the gym, not because we have to, but because love to?

For us, it’s not just about the game. It’s about our kids showing up for each other—cheering on their siblings, celebrating the wins, and learning from the losses. It’s about the lessons, the memories, and the bond we build along the way.

For some families, sports are just a pastime.

But for us… sports are life and that’s more than OK!

Sports teaches SO much!

Discipline & Work Ethic – Athletes learn the importance of practice, persistence, and putting in effort to achieve success. Teamwork & Collaboration – Working with teammates teaches communication, cooperation, and the ability to rely on others. Leadership – Whether as a captain or leading by example, sports help develop leadership qualities. Resilience & Handling Failure – Losing a game or making mistakes teaches how to bounce back, adapt, and keep pushing forward. Time Management – Balancing sports with school, work, or other responsibilities builds strong time management skills. Emotional Control – Learning to manage emotions in high-pressure situations is valuable in all aspects of life. Respect & Sportsmanship – Athletes learn to respect coaches, opponents, referees, and the game itself. Goal Setting & Achievement – Setting and working toward goals is a skill that applies to personal and professional life. Health & Fitness Awareness – Playing sports fosters a lifelong appreciation for physical health and well-being. Adaptability & Problem-Solving – Adjusting strategies and thinking quickly during games translates to problem-solving skills in life.

A4 Academy offers a unique opportunity for student-athletes to learn and train alongside peers who share a passion for sports. We provide an innovative environment that breaks away from traditional schooling methods, empowering students to thrive academically and athletically.

We’ve thrown around this idea of A4A for a couple years and are excited to bring the concept to Wichita, not only for our own family but for everyone else as well!
